We’re looking for someone joining our founding team with focus on Sales and Business Development at Avientus. You will help us building the next-generation drone delivery system for B2B applications. The main task is leading the strategic business development activities, including sales, target customer research & ICP definition, market analysis and validation of our go-to-market strategy.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Lead our Sales and Customer Success activities
- Develop our business strategy in close collaboration with the founding team
- Define our ICP, monetization and go-to-market strategy
- Generate sales leads and perform outreach
- Support the definition of high-level technical specifications aligned with market requirements
- Define workflows and processes for Sales & Customer Success, including tool selection
- Build up and lead our Sales team
We are looking for:
- Experience in Sales / Customer Contact / Customer Success
- Background in economics, Business Administration or a related field
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong team mindset
- Proficiency in German and English
- Be ready to go the extra mile to participate in the success of the company
- Knowledge or experience in drones or generally aviation is a strong plus
- Experience in Startup environment is a plus

Mechanical Engineering Internship (f/m/d)
Mechanical Engineering Internship (f/m/d)
Zurich, 80-100%, 3-6 months
We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our mission at Avientus, where we’re building next-generation drone delivery systems for B2B applications. The goal of the internship is to support the development and assembly of our drone systems, including hands-on prototyping and field testing. The duration of the internship is 3 to 6 months.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Design components in CAD and assist with mechanical development
- Assemble drone systems (both hexacopter & fixed-wing platforms)
- Perform maintenance and ensure flight readiness of our drone systems
- Support flight testing and outdoor field trials
- Test and develop carbon fiber manufacturing methods
We are looking for:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience with CAD software (Autodesk Fusion a plus)
- Interest in drones and hands-on prototyping
- Motivated, curious and able to work independently
- Valid Swiss work permit, citizenship of a Schengen country or enrolled in a Swiss university with a mandatory internship as part of the curriculum
- Experience with composite materials and manufacturing techniques

Robotics Software Engineering Internship (f/m/d)
Robotics Software Engineering Internship (f/m/d)
Zurich (Hybrid), 80-100%, 3-6 months
We are looking for an all-rounded, hands-on robotic software engineering intern to join our mission at Avientus, where we’re building next-generation drone delivery systems for B2B applications. Your role will be strongly focused on system infrastructure and feature development. It spans all sorts of “on-drone software” from vision-based perception, path planning and obstacle avoidance, to the development of hardware drivers, tooling and infrastructure. The duration of the internship is ~6 months.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Designing and implementing software modules running on the drone, from perception, SLAM, navigation and more
- Develop and maintain software infrastructure and tools (e.g. for sensor calibration)
- Integrating and improving communication protocols and system orchestration
We are looking for:
- Bsc/Msc in Robotics or a related field
- Proficient with C++ and python
- Experienced with ROS 2, Docker, Linux OS and CI/CD pipelines
. - You can work independently and reach goals creatively and enjoy being part of a multi-disciplinary team
. - Bonus: experienced with Pixhawk flight controller and drone development

Business Development Internship (f/m/d)
Business Development Internship (f/m/d)
Zurich (Hybrid), 80-100%, 3-6 months
We’re looking for a Business Development Intern to join our mission at Avientus, where we’re building next-generation drone delivery systems for B2B applications. The goal of the internship is to support strategic business development activities, including target customer research, market analysis, and validation of our go-to-market strategy. As we are currently looking for a late co-founder, this internship may evolve into a co-founding role. The duration of the internship is 3 to 6 months.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Support business development and business model validation
- Participate in market and competitor landscape analysis and strategic positioning
- Create business proposals and generate sales leads
- Perform technical and market analysis to evaluate trends and needs
- Support the definition of high-level technical specifications aligned with market requirements
- Contribute to internal strategy meetings and cross-functional collaboration
- Update different tools used for Business Development, Sales and Product Roadmap Definition
We are looking for:
- Background in economics, Business Administration or a related field
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated, curious and able to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid Swiss work permit, citizenship of a Schengen country or enrolled in a Swiss university
- Knowledge or experience in drones or generally aviation is a strong plus
- Experience in Sales/Customer contact is a strong plus
